Belén Aquino Moreira is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a forward and represents Uruguay at senior level.

She grew up in Montevideo’s Barrio Conciliación, where her football story started at home and in the street with her brother.
She began club football at about age four at Belo Horizonte baby fútbol, at a time when girls’ teams were still rare around her.
She trained with boys until she was 13, and only then began training regularly with girls.
Her father and brother backed her football from the start, while her mother needed a little convincing at first.
She studied Sport and Recreation at UTU Brazo Oriental, and has spoken about education as something fundamental alongside football.
She worked to add muscle and improve her nutrition as a young player, going from 43 kg to 48 kg through training, supplements, and better eating.
