Ana Caroline Nogueira Corrêa is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward and can also operate as an attacking midfielder. She represented Brazil at U17 level and received a senior Brazil training call-up under Pia Sundhage in 2020.
Carol is from Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, and began her career with hometown club CEPE-Caxias in 2008.
She was already in Brazil’s youth national-team picture as a teenager, playing at the 2008 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
She had a rare overseas stop in 2019, playing in Israel for Maccabi Kiryat Gat.
A right-knee ACL injury ended her 2021 season early and kept her out until her 2022 return.
When she goes back home, she tries to give young players things she did not have, including shirt giveaways and moments of joy for kids in her community.
She and her wife have three dogs - Marley, Mary Jane and Ohmar.
