Letícia Gabrielle Silva Monteiro is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder and forward. She has represented Brazil at U20 level and was called into a senior Brazil training period before the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Her brother Erick helped shape her love for the game by challenging her to beat him in tiny-space “olé” dribbling games when she was little.
She started playing football at age seven.
Before becoming known on the grass, she first moved to João Pessoa to play futsal.
Andressinha and Ada Hegerberg were listed among her biggest football influences in her Paraíba breakthrough years.
Marta is her biggest inspiration, and she got to train alongside her during Brazil’s pre-Olympic preparation in 2024.
She has spoken openly against machismo in football, saying girls should be able to do what they know, want, and believe in.
