Ariel Rodrigues Godoi is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward.
Arielâs earliest football memories came on a dirt field in Vila Curuçå, in SĂŁo Pauloâs east zone, where she watched her familyâs Amigos Futebol Clube play on weekends.
She was one of the few girls in her neighborhood football school and played with boys in her first steps in the game.
Futsal was her first major football home, and she played as a pivot on the court.
Her move to field football started when Mariane, a friend at Taubaté, invited her to a trial at age 22. By her second day testing at Taubaté, she had fallen for the field game and wondered why she had waited so long to leave futsal.
In the womenâs game, she admired Sole Jaimes and felt Soleâs playing style was close to her own.
Ariel became a mom in 2026, announcing the birth of her first daughter, Liz, with her wife Ayala.
