Jalen Tompkins

She was a high-school student-athlete standout academically and made the Superintendent's Honor Roll every semester.

Tompkins achieved a 4.0 GPA for the 2017 calendar year and was one of 26 Colorado student-athletes to do so.

Fishing, hiking, rollerblading, watching movies and spending time with friends were listed among her interests in her Colorado biography.

At age 15, she travelled to Costa Rica to play football and spent time at an orphanage, connecting with children through sport and games.

Before college, she played for Sereno 97 ECNL and was part of the club's 2013 U16 ECNL national championship-winning squad.
