Molly-Mae Sharpe is an English professional footballer who plays as forward for Women's Super League club Crystal Palace.
She previously played for Durham, NCAA Division II college team Barry Buccaneers in the United States, and Bradford City in the National League.
She started her football journey with Thackley Juniors before joining Leeds United Academy at age 9.
At 12, she moved to Bradford City, where she eventually made her senior debut as a forward at the age of 16.
She holds a degree in Sport & Exercise Science from Barry University.
In 2023/24, Sharpe helped Palace win the Championship title and, with it, a historic promotion to the Women’s Super League.
She grew up supporting Bradford City as a season ticket holder.
She idolized Sue Smith and Kelly Smith, pioneers in English women’s football.
After returning to the UK, she joined Durham Women and earned a Master’s in Education — thanks to a scholarship tied to the club.
She also worked as a football coach in London.
She likes to play golf on her off days.
She joked about possibly being “fuming” if her FIFA stats aren’t where she wants them — especially her pace!
Besides playing, she also works as a co-commentator in football.
