Prisca Chilufya is a Zambian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League and for the Zambia women's national team.
She started her professional club career with Red Arrows in Zambia.
She scored a double hat-trick (6 goals!) and added 2 assists in a single match for Tomiris Turan.
She has an impressive scoring record in Europe, with 50 goals over two seasons for Tomiris and BIIK Kazygurt.
She was controversially excluded from the 2020 Olympics and 2022 WAFCON squads due to gender eligibility rules related to testosterone levels. She described the exclusion as "disturbing" and admitted it led to depression and thoughts of quitting football altogether.
She prefers dressing in male-styled clothing because it makes her feel more comfortable, especially given the physical changes that come from intense football training.
Off the pitch, she’s known for her generosity, donating sports gear alongside Grace Chanda back to their former Red Arrows club in Zambia.
