Emily May Sams, formerly Madril, is an American professional football player who plays as a defender for Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League.
Sams has a twin sister, Lizzy, who was a high school teammate with her at Navarre.
Emily's tattoo, which spells out "rare" using the initials of her family members, symbolizes their unique bond and the gratitude she feels for their support throughout her life.
She enjoys cooking.

She got married in February 2024 and changed her last name from Madril to Sams.
