Angelina Dora Anderson is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
She became the first rookie goalkeeper to start in an NWSL playoff match since the league's inaugural season in 2013.
She served as the starting goalkeeper and captain for the U.S. U-17 Women's National Team at the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
Her freshman year in college, she was named Pac-12 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and Freshman of the Year.
She received her first call-up to the senior national team in January 2025.
She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Psychology and a minor in English.
She enjoys writing, being in nature and spending time with friends.
She started soccer at age 7, which she considers a bit late compared to other professionals.
Initially a center defender—the goalkeeper position "found" her during a youth tournament.
She has interest in a career in neuropsychology after soccer.
