Keijzer grew up in Alkmaar and trained in the youth academies of Telstar and VV Alkmaar before moving up the Dutch pathway.
She made her Eredivisie debut for Ajax at just 16, on 15 November 2019.
She has said Ajax gave her a family feeling, and she describes herself as someone who wants everything perfect even though perfection does not exist.
