Gemmi was born in Milan and joined AC Milan’s youth sector at the age of 9, before completing the club’s full youth pathway.
She won the U17 Scudetto with Milan in 2021/22 and then added the Primavera title two years later.

In summer 2024, she inherited the Primavera captain’s armband from Nadine Sorelli.
Milan confirmed in February 2025 that she had undergone arthroscopic surgery to repair her ACL, with rehab set to follow.
