Natalia Alyse Staude is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League.
She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but grew up in Atlanta, Georgia.
She comes from a family of athletes—her mother and grandfather played college basketball, and her younger sister plays college soccer at the University of Georgia.
In high school, she was not only a soccer standout but also did basketball and swimming.
She committed to the University of Virginia as a sophomore in high school, where she went on to play 103 games—second-most in program history.
In her professional debut on loan with Tampa Bay Sun FC, she scored a goal and recorded an assist in a 3–2 win.
She has represented the United States at every youth national team level from U-14 to U-23.
She has a Master's degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
Her nickname is 'Talia'.
