Lena Petermann is a German professional footballer who plays as a forward for Frauen-Bundesliga club Werder Bremen. She has appeared for the Germany national team.
Lena attended the University of Central Florida (UCF), where she played for the UCF Knights women's soccer team.
During her time there, she was named the American Athletic Conference's Rookie of the Week multiple times in 2013.
At the Knights she played together with her current teammate Sophie Howard.
If not for her football career, Lena has expressed an interest in becoming a pilot.
Lena is fluent in German and English, having played professionally in both Germany and the United States.
Apart from football, Lena has shown an interest in table tennis.
She's a dog person and owns a liitle one too.
She began her football journey playing alongside boys.
She made her debut for Leicester City against Bristol City on matchday one of the 2023/24 season, scoring a debut goal with a second half header that was then followed up with a first home goal, in a 1-0 win over Everton a week later.
Lena loves to travel and visited already tons of destinations and places like Moscow, Niagara Falls, Ibiza and so on.
During her time in France, she also picked up a bit of French.
She was part of the German WU20 squad that won FIFA World Cup.
